How long does it take?
You will have a 45 minute shoot, this is plenty of time to get a good selection of different shots.

Do I need to bring anything?
No, but feel free to bring anything you like props wise, favourite teddies, baby seats, a change of clothes basically anything you think you would like to feature in your images.

How many people can be included?
We are happy to shoot a maximum of 5 people in one shoot, however if you have any special requirements please don't hesitate to contact us.

What should we wear?
Family Session - Neutral & matching colours, jeans & white tops works well, all black or mixed with denim, navy white & powder blue, cream, tan & brown. Avoid stripes, busy patterns and vivid colours.
Individual - This is completely down to your preference of whatever you would like to be photographed in, feel free to bring a change of clothes with you.
Pregnancy - Again this is according to your preference, the most striking images are created with either black or white clothing. We have lots of fabric that you can use to drape or tie around you to create the desired effect. Please remember if you do wish to participate in any nude shots you will be required to avoid wearing tight clothing on the day of the shoot and any underwear for at least 2 hours beforehand.

Should I do my hair/make-up?
Yes, please make yourself up as little or as much as you feel suitable to make yourself feel at ease.

What will it cost me?
We have compiled our tariff specifically to offer competitive pricing that reflects quality along with value for money. We aim to provide an economical alternative to all of our local competitors. Please visit our
rates  page for full pricing details and comparison chart.

Pregnancy specific…

Do I have to pose nude?
Of course not, this is your shoot therefore you decide how you feel most comfortable being photographed, this will be discussed between yourself and the photographer before the shoot begins.

What if I am uncomfortable?
All of our pregnancy photographers are female (& mostly mothers themselves!) and will do their best to put you at ease and make you feel comfortable, if at any time you feel unsure please mention it and changes will be made to ensure you are happy.

The later the better! As far as having a well formed bump is concerned we have found that shoots from around 34 weeks and onwards produce the best results. Unless you are carrying twins or more in which case this is down to your personal preference.
